Winter Outlook
We
were very fortunate to have a fairly modest snowfall last year, around 80” in
total. I’ve done some research on past snowfalls in CNY following a mild
snowfall season and you would be surprised to learn what I found. We’ve not had
2 extremely low snowfall years in a row since 1966/1967 and 1967/1968. Trends
show that we will have either a normal or a high snowfall season this year. The
years following a mild winter show an increase of 75%-225% the next year. That's 120"-190" of snow this season.
